Activities:
Camping:
Campers will learn how to promote a connection with nature while being involved with various activities that enhance the overall experience. When camping, consider bringing along essential gear such as a tent, sleeping bags, and portable cooking equipment.
Gardening:
Cultivating plants and vegetables will helps campers foster a sense of responsibility and sustainability with their local enviornment.
Chicken-Care:
Exploring how to create a suitable living environment for poultry while highlighting important inter-communitcations skills with their fellow campers.
Fire Starting:
A fundamental skill for both camping and survival situations. Campers will gather dry tinder & kindling, while learning techniques such as using matches, lighters, or compact fire starters can help ignite a flame for survivial, & cooking purposes.
Art:
Campers will have the opportunity to express emotions and ideas visually while engaging in art collaborations to promote positive therapeutic practices and enhance cognitive function.
Fishing:
New challenges of fishing techniques, and species identification, and wild-life conservation await campers to discover. Concepts such as selecting the right bait, understanding the best times to fish to improve success rates, and prioritizing sustainable practices by following catch-and-release guidelines will be encouraged.
Foraging
Campers will embark onto new horizons while gathering wild food resources. The goal is to help campers familiarize themselves with local edible plants and mushrooms while practicing ethical foraging by only taking what you can consume and respecting natural habitats.
Sports:
Campers will participate in various sports to develop & improve fitness while fostering a sense of community through teamwork and competition.
Yoga:
This acitivity incorporates physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to enhances flexibility, reduces stress, and promote positive body image.
Tai-Chi:
Campers will learn a form of martial arts focused on slow, deliberate movements and deep breathing to improve balance, flexibility, and mindfulness.
